Training Admin Workshop

Objectives

At the end of the 2-day workshop, you will be able to:

1. Describe the role and function of training

2. Identify training needs

3. List the steps to preparing a Training Plan

4. Identify the uses and applications of SDF training grant subsidies

5. Estimate and do costing for a programme

6. Plan the scheduling and communication of programmes

7. Put together an operational checklist

8. Identify the 4 areas of training evaluation and its uses

Day 1 - Planing:

1. Overview of training administration

2. Training needs vs. non-training issues

3. Training Plan

4. Programme costing

5. SDF Training Grants Subsidies


Day 2 - On-site and off-site arrangements:

1. Organising and coordinating an EOP

2. Aims of the Training Information System

3. Programme scheduling and communication

4. Monitoring and review of tasks

5. Training evaluation


Methodology

A combination of presentations, group discussions, exercises and activities will be used to reinforce concepts and application of skills and knowledge. The activities are designed to help participants work through training processes with relevant feedback and input from the trainer.


Who should attend

For Training Administrators, Training Coordinators, Admin Assistants and those assisting in training administrative matters, HR and non-HR assistants, junior supervisors, officers and executives in support roles handling general administrative matters, who are either new to the organisation or need to refresh their skills and knowledge on training operational matters.
