| Introduction
To be able to lead effectively as a member of a team, one must know one’s
own personality and communications style and then be able to interact
with others of like or unlike personalities and behaviours.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an instrument where participants
will gain knowledge of the 4 main dichotomies; Extravert/Introvert (or
E-I dichotomy), Sensing/Intuitive (or S-N dichotomy), Thinking/Feeling
(or T-F dichotomy) and Judging/Perceiving (or J-P dichotomy).
This new
workshop will help you analyse the people whom you work with and apply
various leadership and communication styles to get things done.
Objectives
In this workshop, participants will have greater understanding
and awareness of:
1. Who in
your team love to be surrounded by other people while others do not.
2. Who in your team are likely to insist on seeing financial or stewardship
reports and who prefer to see possibilities and the big picture to make
decisions.
3. Why some policies and decisions made by your team members seem to be
purely driven by a business mindset, while others are more thoughtful
of people.
4. Who on your team are likely to generate plans to the tee, while others
will ‘seize the day’ and get a thrill out of the 11th hour
work submission.
