Introduction
Organisations are made up of people working individually and together
to achieve its business goals and objectives. The ability of supervisors
to influence and motivate people to execute what needs to be done will
make the difference between whether the organisation will survive and
thrive or not. This programme has been specially customised for staff
who are new to supervising or who have yet to receive formal training
in supervisory skills. It will provide participants with the acquisition
of the necessary skills to lead and manage others successfully.

All levels of Supervisors who have responsibility for leading and managing

responsibilities.
Trainer
Ong Loong Tee has over twenty years experience of people development
and human resource management. He has in-depth knowledge of the Singapore
tri-partite system having been President of the Union in SMRT for over
five years, in addition to international H.R. experience acquired with
multi-national corporations and operational management experience in the
construction, transport and education sectors.
His organizational experience includes eight years with SMRT, for six
of which he was full-time President of the House Union, two generalist
HR roles with multi-nationals [Unilever and Boustead] and as an Administrative
Officer with Singapore Polytechnic. He has leadership and operational
experience in recruitment & selection, training & development,
compensation & benefits and industrial relations and provides training
and consulting services in all these areas. His focus is on improving
organizational capability to recruit and develop people and to improve
HR policies and systems to support business objectives.
He can draw upon a wide range of tools and methodologies including accreditation
in DISC, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, APP™ On-Line Recruitment
Assessments and, for 360 degree, Benchmarks ® and SKILLSCOPE ®.
He is certified as a ‘People Developer’ consultant.
