People management is considered one of the most important skills
for employability. Being adept at communicating and enabling others to
complete work and meet targets will be the number one skill.
At work
and in our leisure time, we are often confronted by difficult (challenging)
people and situations and they seem to come at us from all angle. How
to we cope? People don't change easily, so it would require us to have
a toolbox of useful techniques to assist us in doing our job well.
Seeing beyond difficult behaviors and treating others with tact and diplomacy
can help us manage the situation, even though sometimes it seem impossible.
Objectives
At the end of the program, the participants should be able to:

Methodology
We use a variety of interactive methods that allow participants to learn by drawing conclusions
(learning points) from their practices and exercises. The pace of the programs will keep participants
involved and attentive. Participants are taught in a step-by-step combination of lectures and discussions,
demonstrations, small group exercises and discovery experiments.
Training

4. Use of video clips as enhancement & discussions for skills development

Trainer
David Ong Kah Seng graduated with a Masters in Counseling a Bachelor
of Business Administration in Human Resources Development and Management
from Rochville University in USA. He also holds Professional Diplomas
in Training and Development from Singapore Training and Development Association,
Instructional Techniques and Design from both Singapore and Australia
Air Forces.
David was
a Principle Instructor, Chief Assessor cum People Developer Officer with
Republic Singapore Air Force School reporting directly to the Commanding
Officer. His job responsibilities include planning, administration &
finance; facilitating, managing programs. He also looks into the selection,
training and development of the instructors in the school.
Kah Seng has worked across organizations and industries both locally and
internationally, adding value to the organization’s business processes.
He has many years of working experiences in the training and development
cycle involving both the learners and trainers. Through his last 17 years
with the Republic of Singapore Air Force, he has received numerous Awards
for Commendations and Excellence from Air Force, National Efficiency Medal
and Value Service Letter from the country.
David is
passionate in training and desires to ensure that participants are enriched
and benefit from his delivery
