Pung Eng Hui Sonny is a graduate of the Labour College of Canada and has held various positions in the human resource field since 1964. Amongst the many senior positions he has held, it also includes deputy and executive director positions for professional and not-for-profit organisations in Singapore.

A HR veteran and practitioner, he has represented employers and human resource practitioners at local and international seminars and conferences. Mr. Pung was also an "Employers' Panel Member" of the Industrial Arbitration Court of Singapore and sat on many committees related to human resource functions at different stages of his career. He has also led and participated in several study missions to foreign countries for purpose of developmental work.

Mr. Pung is still active in the HR fraternity and contribute his knowledge in various areas including judging awards competition for best corporate HR practices.
