- Marriage Leave

Marriage Leave in Singapore Companies can be granted to employees from as low as three days to as high as fourteen days depending on the organisation's family-friendly and work-life balance policies. This is according to the HR practitioners who are part of the HRSINGAPORE Community. HR people suggest implementing Marriage Leave Policies based on the following conditions:

  • The Leave should be for the Registry of Marriage (ROM) ceremony, customary marriage and honeymoon.


  • It is to be applicable for the first marriage, granted only once and only for official marriages.


  • Approval is for confirmed employees who show proof of marriage and leave has to be continuous.
