Childcare Leave

What is the impact of the new regulations on Childcare leave announced in August 2008?

One of the questions raised by the HRSINGAPORE^® Community has been the number of days of leave to grant.

The majority of HR professionals have stated that they will be granting 3 days of company paid childcare leave. A few are going to grant another 3 days paid by the government once legislation is passed. All of them will provide non-paid infant care leave to their female employees this year.

One of the other issues raised in the HRSINGAPORE^® Forum is childcare leave for non-citizens as the discussion continues.
