Trainers

Mr. Pung Eng Hui Sonny is a graduate of the Labour College of Canada and has held various positions in the human resource field since 1964. Amongst the many senior positions he has held, it also includes deputy and executive director positions for professional and not-for-profit organisations in Singapore.

A HR veteran and practitioner, he has represented employers and human resource practitioners at local and international seminars and conferences. Mr. Pung was also an "Employers' Panel Member" of the Industrial Arbitration Court of Singapore and sat on many committees related to human resource functions at different stages of his career. He has also led and participated in several study missions to foreign countries for purpose of developmental work.

Mr. Pung is still active in the HR fraternity and contribute his knowledge in various areas including judging awards competition for best corporate HR practices.

Haridas Ramadas (Hari) is the Founder & CEO of HRSINGAPORE®. An experienced trainer and consultant in Human Resource Management and Communication skills, Hari has worked in Singapore and overseas in the banking, trading and service industries and has 18 years experience in training and consulting.

His experience includes conducting public programmes, as well as in-house programmes for GMP, KLM Cargo, Pan United, Courts, Centrepoint Properties, Humming House, Brunei Shell, CPF Board and MINDEF.

Born and bred in Singapore, Hari holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National University of Singapore.

He personally designs and delivers workshops on Performance Management, Hiring Star Employees, Writing Skills for Human Resource Practitioners and consults with companies on Performance Management as well as Redundancy and Retrenchment.


Jenny Au has 25 years of management experience in global environment for Human Resource Management, Customer Service, Sales Support and General Management. She held senior and middle management positions at SV Probe (HR Director), KLA-Tencor (Senior Regional HR Manager), Chartered Semiconductor (HR Section Manager), National Semiconductor (HR Administrator), Molex Singapore (General Administrator/Sales & Customer Service) & Management Consultant Services.

She has established herself as a highly experienced Human Resource Management Practitioner with hands-on experience including development and implementation on Human Resource Policies, Industrial Relations, Compensation & Benefit, Payroll Administration, Employee Relations, Welfare & Orientation and Training & Development.

Jenny Au holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management, Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Advance Certificate in Management. She has also done part-time lecturing Certificate & Diploma levels in HRM. Apart from HRM specialization, Jenny has also conducted in-house programs for SME and MNC organizations in Customer-Service and Leadership.

Jenny also conducts the HRSINGAPORE® Developing Effective HR Policies for HR Professionals, Developing An Employee Handbook, Customer Service for HR Professionals and Payroll Administration workshops.


Joan Teo has over fifteen years of work experience in the areas of general administration, human resource management, training and development.

She started her career in general administration working for not-for-profit organisations, including a statutory board. Subsequently, she joined the private sector working in the HR & Administration department specializing in staff welfare matters and employee benefits. She has held senior position in the area training administration as well as training and development.

She is currently the VP for training with HRSINGAPORE® and its subsidiary HRM SKILLS PTE LTD. Her portfolio includes overseeing training programmes, content development and training delivery.

She has helped numerous clients in identifying their in-house training needs and coordinated numerous People Developer consultancy works leading to companies receiving the PD Awards. She has also organised many seminars, workshops and conferences attended by HR practitioners, senior management personnel, industry leaders as well as government or public officials.

The types of training workshops conducted by her include the following: Training Administration, Event Management, Writing Skills, Employee Orientation and Exit Interview. She is also one of the trainers for the programme on the Certified Human Resources Administrator (CHRA), designed and developed by HRSINGAPORE®.

Joan holds a Master degree in Social Sciences (Applied Sociology), Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Sociology), Certificate in Management Studies, and the Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).


Janarthanan Selvarajoo has more than 10 years of experience with the Ministry of Manpower and has held the positions of Director Employment Inspectorate, Deputy Controller of Work Permits, Assistant Commissioner for Labour and Head Labour Court.

He has worked closely with several industry associations, agencies and regulatory government agencies, and established himself as a highly knowledgeable and experienced HR Management practitioner with hands-on experience including development and implementation regulatory policies, labour standards, review of employment trends, promotion of best practices and education on employment laws.

Janar holds a Bachelor of Business in Management & Marketing, Higher Diploma in Business Studies and a Diploma in Business Administration & Marketing. He is now actively giving large-scale presentation to associations, organisations and companies from various industries on topics pertaining to Foreign Manpower Management, Employment Act and Labour Standards.


Michelle Luehman, has worked in Asia for 16 years and has had a varied career in the training and development arena, as well as working as a Country Manager and Regional Director in the Asia Pacific and globally for different multinationals. She is an accomplished facilitator and professional trainer with 18 years experience in training design and delivery in the private and public sectors.

Michelle specializes in the Service, IT, Banking, Manufacturing and Retail sectors of the market. She has delivered training programs, workshops and developed training manuals for many of the world’s most eminent companies, customers include Coles Myer, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, Microsoft, Accenture, Unilever, Carrefour, DBS – Vickers, OCBC bank, Starhub, SPH Media and Phillips.

Having combined a training and development career with line management and HR, she knows from a personal experience the mistakes you can make in talent management and sourcing and how crucial it is to ensure that you actively stay on top of the needs of the organisation and what is happening in the market place.

Her classes are highly interactive, fun and informative, full of the latest information and techniques and she makes sure that everyone participates learns and walks away with practical skills they can apply on the job.

Michelle has a Post Graduate in Management and a Bachelor in Science.
